Authentic Africa Tribal Mask, Circa 1900

    This particular mask is called a "Lwalwa" mask, handcarved from muleta wood. The mask is dyed through the fruit of the ‘mukula’ tree, known as the sealing wax’ tree.

    This mask was used during ceremonies as an important part in their celebrations to represent the initiation of young men into adulthood.

    This accessory can be hung from the back or used as a decorative accessory piece.
